In this training course we will talk about the many hazards associated with demolition projects and the ways in which to protect yourself and others on job sites. We will also discuss the strong importance of planning in demolition projects and how a good demolition plan can effectively keep all workers and the general public safe. With proper training and awareness, most demolition-related accidents and injuries can be prevented. Workers who are adequately informed will be able to better protect themselves from these injuries and help prevent catastrophic accidents when working on demolition sites.

• Know the basics of demolitions, including what a demolition is and the different demolition types.
• Recognize the hazards associated with demolitions and know how to protect yourself and coworkers from danger.
• Identify the components of a safe demolition, including planning procedures, explosive safety, and post-demolition clean-up operations.
• Understand how to implement safe demolition work practices when working on demolition sites.

This training program focuses on the needs of the “end user”, and upon successful completion, will provide an updated operator's certificate and wallet card.
