The 52ft Diesel Knuckle Boom fills the gap between the 45ft and 60ft machines, with 16 metres of platform height and 7.3 metres of up-and-over clearance. The JLG 520AJ stocked in this size is a well-known commercial-site workhorse, with 4WD rough terrain drive, an on-board generator for tool power at height, and a chassis tight enough to work around plant and parked vehicles. Used on multi-storey construction, plant maintenance, industrial steel and infrastructure jobs where a 45ft is short and a 60ft won't fit.
